The 2018 Ram 1500 is well-rounded when it comes to performance. You’ll get 395 horsepower if you pick the available 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine, and up to 420 lb-ft of torque with the available 3.0L EcoDiesel® V6. The diesel engine also has the best EPA-estimated fuel economy in the lineup, with 20 city/27 highway MPG.

2018 Ram: Towing & Hauling
When properly equipped, the Ram 1500 towing capacity reaches 10,620 pounds, meaning you can tow everything from a speedboat to a cargo trailer and transport it to your destination. The Ram 1500 also has several towing features to make the job easier, including Hill Start Assist to help you safely climb inclines, as well as Trailer Sway Control.
The Ram 1500 payload tops out at 1,880 pounds, so you can stack plenty of lumber, cement, furniture, or other materials and get them where they need to go. You can choose between three bed lengths, too: a 5-foot, 7-inch bed; a 6-foot, 4-inch bed, and an 8-foot bed.
