Technology and Safety Features
The RAM 3500 offers some state-of-the-art technology, such as an intuitive infotainment system with an 8.4-inch or 12-inch touch screen. The infotainment system has responsible inputs, sharp graphics, and plenty of entertainment features, including navigation, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration for streaming media. For on-the-road connectivity, you can add five USB ports and three 115-volt outlets for devices.
For safety, the RAM has a long list of driver assistance technology. Some of the highlighted features include Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning Plus with Auto Emergency Braking, which alerts you to a possible forward crash and applies the brakes, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop, which adjusts your cruising speed to maintain a safe distance from the car ahead. Blind-Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Path Detection is also available. It alerts you to vehicles in your blind spot or pedestrians and vehicles behind you, and includes trailer monitoring, so you can safely change lanes when you’re towing a large trailer too.
