The Grand Cherokee 4xe is a plug-in hybrid SUV. You charge it at home and hit the open road, producing few emissions. You won’t want for power, either, with the 2.0L turbo PHEV engine, which delivers 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.

The Grand Cherokee 4xe has three driving modes: Hybrid, Electric, and eSave. Hybrid Mode combines the power of the turbo engine and the electric motor. Electric Mode only utilizes the electric motor, so you have no emissions. eSave Mode uses the gas engine and saves the battery power for later.

Like other Jeep vehicles, the Grand Cherokee 4xe has standard 4×4 capability and an available Quadra-Trac II® 4×4 System that transfers torque to the axle with the most traction.

Inside the Cabin

The interior of the Grand Cherokee 4xe has much of what makes a Jeep a Jeep. Comfortable seats with standard leather upholstery. Driver seat memory is standard, so you can save your driving position, even if someone else is leading your next adventure.

An infotainment system is standard inside the Grand Cherokee 4xe powered by Uconnect® 5 and with an 8.4-inch or available 10.1-inch display. Use your smartphone to stream music, take calls, and even get directions through this system, so you can enhance your next journey.

Choose the Grand Cherokee 4xe Right For You

The Grand Cherokee 4xe has five trim levels to choose from, so you can get the hybrid SUV that’s right for you.

The first trim is the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe. Right out of the gate, this trim has a standard Selec-Terrain™ System and a heavy duty suspension.

The second trim is the Trailhawk. The Trailhawk has a front suspension skid plate, a fuel tank skid plate shield and a transfer case ski plate shield to protect it when navigating any terrain it encounters.

The Overland trim is next up. The Overland trim comes standard with LED front footwell and overhead cargo area lighting as well as rear reading/courtesy lamps to light up the interior of your Grand Cherokee.

The fourth trim is the Summit. Nappa leather seats and a power driver and front passenger seats with back-massager come standard.

The highest trim level is the Summit Reserve. Ventilated rear seats are standard for those hot days. Your front-seat passenger can also help co-pilot, with their own interactive display.
