Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM July Sales Results Are Released
Yesterday, FCA US announced that the company sold 161,477 vehicles during the month of July in the United States, as the company continues to reduce the volume of sales to the daily rental segment. One noteworthy achievement during the month was that three models — the Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep Compass and RAM ProMaster City — scored best-ever July sales performances.
The Chrysler Pacifica, the most-awarded minivan over the past two years, posted a 5 percent gain for the vehicle’s best July sales ever, and while the Chrysler 300 gained a 31 percent sales increase compared to July 2016.
Four Dodge vehicles scored sales increases for July. Sales for both the Journey and the Viper improved over July 2016, the Durango model registered its best July sales numbers since 2011 and the Charger earned a 9 percent increase.
There were three Jeep® models that earned sales increases in year-over-year comparisons. The Jeep Grand Cherokee registered the model’s best July sales numbers in a dozen years, the Jeep Compass posted its best July sales performance ever and the Jeep Wrangler — the world’s most capable and recognizable vehicle — also earned an increase over last July’s results.
RAM truck sales jumped 7 percent for the month, with the RAM ProMaster City van delivering the model’s best July sales results in history.
The Jeep Wrangler, Dodge Challenger and Chrysler Pacifica models all were recently honored with awards, while the Chrysler and RAM brands both scored well on customer surveys.
