Chrysler Pacifica Makes Best Family Cars of 2017 List
Parents magazine and Edmunds revealed their list of the “10 Best Family Cars of 2017” earlier this month, and the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica was named “Best Minivan.” Vehicles that earn a place on this list are being praised for delivering the features that today’s active families prize, such as passenger space, fuel efficiency and cargo capacity.
The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica has revitalized the minivan segment, receiving multiple industry awards for its one-of-a-kind combination of functionality, style, versatility and technology. Boasting more than 100 available safety and security features, the Pacifica also offers a full range of comfort and convenience technologies — including an all-new Uconnect Theater rear seat entertainment system that’s sure to make the kids happy.
The new Pacifica Hybrid features a class-exclusive hybrid powertrain, making it the very first electrified vehicle in the minivan segment. When in electric-only mode, the Pacifica Hybrid achieves 84 miles-per-gallon equivalent (MPGe) and 33 miles of driving range.
Edmunds and Parents magazine have now distributed their awards for 10 straight years. They start by examining and testing hundreds of new vehicles, and then eliminate candidates until they’ve determined the 10 vehicles that they believe offer the best blend of value, safety, performance and family-friendly amenities.
