The most powerful engine is the available Supercharged 6.2L High-Output HEMI® V8 engine that puts out an incredible 807 horsepower and 707 lb-ft of torque, far outpacing the Mustang.

The Ford Mustang starts out with a 6-speaker sound system that’s MP3 capable. There are also two USB smart-charging ports.

On the other hand, the Dodge Challenger starts out of the gate with a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen powered by Uconnect® 4. You can use your favorite smartphone apps on this system using Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration. Keep your hands on the wheel while you call friends using Bluetooth® hands-free calling. The Challenger also begins with a 6-speaker sound system, yet the standard LCD monitor is something that’s missing from the standard Mustang.

Both vehicles offer plenty of space; however, the Dodge Challenger gives you and your passengers a bit more room to spread out.

The Ford Mustang offers 29 inches of legroom in the rear, which is less than the Challenger, where you’ll find a much more comfortable 33.1 inches. This may not seem like a big difference; however, your tall passengers will appreciate the extra space.

The Challenger also offers a lot more hip room in the front and in the back, with 55.3 inches in the front and 47.8 inches in the rear of the cabin. The Mustang has less space, with 54.9 inches of hip room in the front and 47.4 inches in the back.
